Pitch decks
A pitch deck is a short slide deck drafted for one quote. Start one from the quote page under Pitch decks: paste the client's brief (their email or your meeting notes) and press "Draft pitch deck".
How it's drafted
The pitch agent drafts 6 to 9 slides from the client's brief, the quote's scope, and similar past work as proof. The price slide is always written by code from the quote, so it can't differ from the approved price. On the deck it says "Locked to the quote. Change the quote to change these."
The deck you see first is a template written by code. Cardinal then queues a job for the runner on your computer, which asks your own claude for the slides. The AI draft panel on the page shows the job. When the answer comes back it replaces the template, unless you have already edited a slide; your edits are kept.
If your computer is off, the panel says "Waiting for your computer…" and the template stays until the runner picks the job up.
Editing
Each slide has a heading, bullets and a speaker note, all editable on the deck page. Use "Mark as sent" when it goes to the client, or "Delete deck" to remove it.
Present or save as PDF
Press "Present / PDF" to open the print view in a new tab. Slides are laid out at 16:9, one per page. Use your browser's print to show it or save it as a PDF. "Back to editing" returns to the deck.
