Your plan for the day
The Plan page turns your Today list into a day: your meetings where they are, your top items as focus blocks in the gaps (45 to 90 minutes each), short gaps for email and admin, and lunch kept free when it can be. Meetings that overlap are flagged.
Your calendar, through your own Claude
- Cardinal never holds your Google or Microsoft login. With the Cardinal runner on your computer, "Read my calendar with Claude" asks your own Claude to read today's events through the calendar connector you added in Claude (Settings, Connectors). It may only list and read events: it can't create, change or delete one, and it can't read your email.
- Cardinal keeps only what you see: times, titles and the domains of the people invited, never their addresses. The job's request and answer are cleared from the runner queue once it finishes.
- Without the runner or a connector, the plan still works from your Today list.
Meeting prep and the end of the day
- For meetings with people outside your firm, Cardinal shows who they are to you, from what you can already see in Cardinal: an exec sees the client's open deals; the workspace owner also sees unpaid invoices.
- "Write prep and wrap with Claude" adds up to three asks per meeting and a short end-of-day wrap, written on your computer from Cardinal's numbers. Any typed number is rejected.
Private to you
Your manager never sees your calendar, your plan or these notes, on any page. Your briefing never reads them, and they are left out of the workspace export.
